Plantacote Ultra is a unique combination of Plantacote NPK ( a 100% polymer coated nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium prill), Plantacote Urea (a 100% polymer coated urea prill), and a proprietary granule containing an optimum balance of secondary and trace elements.

This combination of nutrients provides an economical, yet highly effective controlled release fertilizer package.  The release of the NPK nutrients is controlled by a polymer coating membrane which responds to soil temperature.  Stated release times refer to an average soil temperature of  70ºF.  As soil temperatures increase, Plantacote Ultra provides an additional nutrient supply, and as temperatures cool, nutrient release is reduced.  This insures that more nutrients will be available as plants require them, and will be reduced as plant growth slows.  The ability to respond to plant needs virtually eliminates excess nutrient release and potential runoff, making Plantacote Ultra an environmentally friendly fertilizer alternative.
