This unique blend has been designed to provide a complete, safe, economical short-term green-up for a full range of containerized nursery stock. It has been formulated to supply its nutrients over a period of approximately 4-5 months. The release of nitrogen and potassium is controlled by X-calibur’s unsurpassed polymer coating technology and Crystal Green® as the P source. The stated longevity of approximately 4-5 months applies to an average substrate surface temperature of 70º F. Higher temperatures will accelerate release (i.e. 80º F. approximately 4 months) and lower temperatures slow it down (i.e. 60º F. approximately 5 months. In addition to the controlled release of the major nutrients, the high calcium and magnesium components will assure plants remain green and vibrant. |
